The 4 Oils Every Naturalista Should Have For Hair Growth

First let me start by saying that long hair is only worth having if it is also healthy. Otherwise, you've just got more damage to control and who wants that?!

Below I've compiled a list of some of the best hair growth oils that I believe every naturalista/o should have in their arsenal. Check it out:

1. Emu Oil: Emu Oil is known to penetrate deep to deliver all of its rich fatty acids that nourish and stimulate the hair. Emu oil is really special because not only does it help to stimulate and grow hair that's already there, but it has also been effectively used to regrow hair in problem areas. Somebody say edges? You can get your edges back together with this hair growth oil from Nancy's Kitchen Products.

2. Rosemary Essential Oil: This oil comes from the Rosemary herb which you may already know and love from your last Thanksgiving Day meal. Rosemary Essential Oil, when paired with a carrier oil can not only assist with growth and thickness of your strands but can also be used to help treat itchy scalp as well. Get the benefits of this oil in our Silk Buttercream Hair Growth Oil.

3. Jamaican Black Castor Oil: This one's a fave! As it's name suggests, the process used to create this oil has roots in the beautiful island of Jamaica! JBCO is great for maintaining long luscious locks and loose natural hair by using it to seal in oil or as a scalp massage. We use this gem in our own oil that comes in a 1 or 2 ounce option. Check it out here.

4. Macadamia Nut Oil: Macadamia nut oil is very similar to it's most famous sister, Argan Oil, with one key difference: penetration! While there's no evidence that Argan Oil can actually penetrate the hair shaft to deliver it's nutrients, Macadamia nut oil does which is what lends to its ability to soften the hair as well. As I'm sure you've guessed, we use this oil in our own hair growth oil and you can check it out right here!
